Does anyone know if you can have both version installed and running on the same machine? I just got CS3 and a TON of training videos, so it may be a while before I can do the same things on CS3 that I can do on CS2, and thought it might be helpful to leave CS2 on my computer..

well, i opened cs3 and tried to open cs2 but it just takes me to cs3 without opening cs2. I have a trial version of cs3 running but i dont see how that would make a difference.

IMPO - the best /only way to learn is to force yourself to only use CS3. uninstall cs2 and only use cs3, you'll be back up to speed in no time.

Jump right in and don't look back.

FYI - if you have ACTIONS saved you may have trouble using them in CS3 - I couldn't figure it out and just reacreated them.

Both can be installed on a PC, only one can run at a time. If you can use CS2 then you should be able to use CS3, it's very very similar.

I have both because PhotoJunction (my album design software) is buggy and pretty much requires CS2.
