I'm wanting to print one of my images to frame and hang, and I'm just wondering if I'm supposed to apply any kind of 'fixer' (spray etc?) to the image once it's printed?

I'd appreciate any help on this, thanks.

Depends somewhat on your printer and if you are framing behind glass.

No glass?, If you are using a pigment printer, the print should last without the spray. If you are printing on gloss, white areas of the print will not shine correctly unless your printer uses a clear-coat. Only a few printers (I use an Epson r1800) handle this well. If you are using a dte ink, I would consider using the spray.

If you are putting behind glass, I doubt you will have many problems.

Thanks Joe...the picture will be printed on gloss, but will be going behind glass.
