Can anyone make some recomendations for a back pack style camera bag ? I've just purchased a 30d with a 70-200 mm lens and would like provide safe storage/transport.

Just purchased the Canon EG200 Backpack through Amazon <$40. I have the grip on the body as well and the whole setup fits nicely in the pack. Has waist strap and sternum strap. Do a search on the bag and you will read some great reviews. Peter

I've got a 30D 100-400 and a 24-105 plus filters and the ususla other stuff. Check it out, you could do worse. Canon 30D, 24-105 f/4 L IS, 70-200 f/4 L USM, 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM

My Slingshot 200 AW will take a 30D with grip and a mounted 70-200 or 100-400 with Kenko 1.4X teleconverter and room for the unused lens too. The top compartment will take a flash gun or (I haven't checked this bit) probably a smaller lens like 10-22 or 17-55.
