First- confession. I do buy the cheap ink off of Ebay and after 2 or three buys- never from the same person, I of course have different cartridges of all shapes and sizes. This has not been a problem until recently.

After replacing a cartridge, colors were all screwed up- especially blue sky- became purple. Tried cleaning heads but didn't change. Changed out the cartridge just replaced- didnt' help'.

Printed nozzle check pattern and LOTS of missing lines in many colors. So did clean and check, clean and check- multiple times, seeing a SLOW improvement in the test patterns. Certainly now have cleaned 25-30 times and all patterns are intact except the very last one on the right. I can only see about 5-10% of the ink that should be there. I can't tell if it's the black or light black that's not right.

Is there a way another way to unclog this?

TIA for any assistance you can offer, Jim

In case someone else has the same problem-I found you can buy "Epson Head Cleaning Solution" from Canon or off of Ebay for about $15. You simply drip some on the sponge under the ink cartridge carrier and wait a few hours, run head clean sequence 3 times and check test pattern. Fixed mine right away.
