Don't get me wrong, I think working with RAW is fantastic. The only downside, for me anyway, is knowing when to stop.
The fact that there are so many endless possibilites and outcomes from the original file seems to effect my judgement and I don't know when to call it a day. I'm more critical of images because I never see them as an end result and know in the back of mind that the RAW file can always be tweaked. I find myself constantly criticising my images, maybe it's too bright, too saturated and I keep going back and changing them like some kind of obesession
How do you know when to stop or when the end result you've achieved is what you were aiming for?
