hello POTN,

im not quite sure where to post this exactly, but my photoshop has accumulated quite a bit of fonts, which in turns slows down its startup time and some processing time.

i have 3 gigs of ram and i still notice the difference.

i would like to start fresh with only some selective fonts i use, but i have no idea how to do this. there is no way for me to tell between the original fonts and the ones i installed, and at ths time, going through each font one by one would be too much work.

any ideas?

thanks

Did you install the fonts in Windows or to the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Fonts?

Have you tried just removing them to a temporary location and replacing with the selective ones you need? I was under the impression that PS just used what was already in your Windows\Font Folder.

It does do that, but you can also install them into the common files folder as well so that only photoshop can use them.

I'm not sure what (if any) fonts Photoshop comes with from Adobe though.
