WARNING....graphic pictures

Here are some shots I took last Spring of a young Red-tailed Hawk taking a meal, or should I say a very small snack.

racketman.....Yup.....​he's looking for that cricket. It's really amazing how that big ol' hawk is willing to waste his time with that little cricket. Maybe they're like chocolate covered rasins to him.

Gary....Thank you....he/she actually posed for me. I've never had a hawk that close, and such a willing subject. I felt like I owed him a mouse or something, for being so cooperative.:lol:

Mitch....That sure is Jiminy Cricket....apparently quite tasty.

Joayne.....I did spend time with this one. He/She was so willing to let me shoot pictures that I figured I stay until I ran out of memory (on my card that is). I actually got quite a few shots of this guy.
