Waddington Cancelled (Sunday)

Some very angry spectators at Waddington this morning..

People from all over Europe arriving for Sundays airshow only to be met by officials telling them that the show is cancelled due to the weather..

Ho Hum..

Wow!

I'm not too far for RAF Waddington and the weather although wet looks better than yesterday.

I'm amazed that they called the event off.

Disappointing yes, but it's a fact of life. Anyone who goes to airshows should know that.

The weather is loads better than yesterday! oh well maybe they know something we dont

Its a shame but it's partly because of yesterday's rain and more forcast today makeing the ground too wet.
also i think they may be woried about people getting caught in flood's trying to get home Now that would be a nightmare for all.

Listening to local radio at the moment and the decision to cancel wasn't taken until after visitors had started to arrive on site.

Heavy rain at around 06:00, yet decision to cancel wasn't taken until 08:30

god i so hope the weather gets better for riat! please please please! that's the reason why i went broke and bought my 1-4 L lens!

Sorry to hear about todays display being cancelled guys, yesterday the weather was truely terrible, I've just finished sorting some of my images and will post them shortly.
