Sushi for lunch - $14

Either you didn't eat much, or the sushi might be questionable, like all you can eat sushi! :p

Hope you're OK!

I didn't eat that much....You just have to love early morning meetings where they supply plenty of danish and genetically modified muffins that are enormous.

The sushi is good (non-questionable) :)

Doing a bit of tethered shooting there Doze?
Nice!

Yes I am. :)

Here's the best $28 I ever spent. I took one of my image and sent it to schtickers.com (external link) and they made me a nice skin for my laptop.

I like that idea!

Hmmm.... I wonder which photo of mine I'd skin my laptop with.

Yes it is...i looked at all the hype, borrowed one, loved it, hated that I bought a car instead of the lens - go figure! But it is next on my list of purchases...

I hope so. And my bank account just cried again as I've also just pulled the trigger on a 135L. And I'm not done yet, if all goes well I'll be buying two more lenses tomorrow :)

Although, it seems as though I always end up buying them at the end of the week so I have to wait through the weekend to get them

What other two will you be going for? 200L & 85L too?

Nah, I'll most likely be getting the Sigma 50mm ƒ/1.4 and the Tamron 14mm ƒ/2.8. I considered the Canon equivalents, but the Canon 14mm mark I was too soft for the price and the mark II is too expensive to consider for how much I'd use it. As for he 50mm, the durability of the 1.4 was too questionable (two of my friends had the lens and the autofocus failed for both) and the 50L just wasn't worth it.

I was really considering the 85L, although a friend of mine has it and he's a shooting buddy of mine, so I can steal his on a reasonably frequent basis . And I already have the 200mm ƒ/2.8L and 300mm ƒ/2.8L IS, so that'll take care of my telephoto needs for now.

Well, in actuality I probably wouldn't shoot with it that often. I love the extra reach of my 300mm ƒ/2.8 and the 200mm ƒ/2.8 I have is for those situations where 300mm is just a bit too long. So it doesn't get used an extensive amount and usually just sits on my backup camera around my neck. The 200mm ƒ/2 would give way too much neck strain for how often I used it . However, I would love the new IS in my 300mm!
