What y'all buy with money (or barter) today?

Today I (We) spent nearly £4000 on living room furniture - Could have bought a few lenses for that! (Who needs tables, chairs and cupboards etc.)

Ba****ds wanted to charge us £25 to have it delivered - I told them if they don't deliver it free I'll walk out the shop and go elsewhere - They gave me free delivery...

Way to go. For spending that much there, they should have given you free shipping automatically

Yeah, the guy even had to clear it with the manager . I told him that trying to charge a delivery fee on that amount is taking the p*ss.
I can understand it for a few hundred pounds but the amount of stuff we bought they shouldn't have even mentioned it and just told us it would include delivery.

Never mind, lets just hope it gets delivered on time and not damaged


We also went food shopping and spent £140 in Tesco.

Good lad Kev ... man those clowns had some cheek. Sounds like you still got well creamed for a bit of furniture tho'. Not MFI I assume

Err..no!

It is real wood tho' (remember that?) and I think it's hand-built by master craftsmen just come over from Poland or somewhere simliar

I speak from experience - I once bought a table from MFI with 2 legs... Well, I bought one that should have had 4, but...

I buy shirts online as I know the exact size of the brand I usually wear but usually you have try stuff on or it don't fit. I have some job interviews coming up and some you are better dressing down a little but still smart, and others the full suit and tie look. I am fine on the latter but for the former I need to suppliment what i have already with some sharp/new stuff. So, I needed to shop but can do it in London next week.

should get some nice stuff in the sales on Oxford Street
