Iv'e had my XTi for a few months and have learned alot. Both from the camera and PP with zoombrowser. I don't have or use an outside PP such as Photoshop, but I want to start posting pictures on this site. Especially mt first duck photo. Eventually I will shoot in RAW but I am happy to keep it a slow learning process, so that I won't get discouraged. What is my next step? Should I sign up with a hosting site so I can post pictures? Should I start shooting RAW? Any and all advice more than welcome.

Keep shooting JPG if that's what you like. A simple free program like Irfanview will do image resizing, you can attach 800 pixel wide/high images to your post so long as they're under 100kb. You'll probably want an editing program sooner or later, I think Photoshop Elements comes with the camera (or used to), give that a go. Photoshop is a heck of a learning curve, so get a book. I have a book thread in my sig but nothing on elements sorry.
