Excellent shots, I'd be too scared of the pigeons to dress like #5 in London though.

Excellent work Allan, you have nailed the exposure perfectly on subjects that are not that easy to shoot.
I agree with above comments, the last guy did the best job and gets 10 points from me for costume and makeup.

Rob, Pete, Joe, Curtis, Artur, Jim & Naturalist
I appreciate you all taking the time to look and comment,
The last guy I almost missed him as he did blend in so well, If I can recall he was located in Camden High Street, Near Covent Garden, the Wife was looking for the Dr Martens store which originally was located in Covent Garden and has since been changed over to Oakleys.
We did eventually find it but were rather disappointed with the new store but hey that is another story.

The thing that gets me with these guys is where do they put on all their makeup etc, Surely they don't put the make-up on at home and then use the Tube etc although that would be a funny sight to see.

I have seen that alot of them seem to live on the street though.
again thanks for taking the time to comment.

Very cool! All of them look great. I've never seen mimes with such intricate makeup.

can kind of answer this. when i was working in stratford there was one there every day and he got 99% of tourists. was very funny and I used to see him get ready every day. used to come down on his bike with a big coat on over the top and no make up on head or hood/hair etc

and stand round the back of where he was playing and do it all quickly then as the face he used was a mask made from tights i think so just pulled over head and did hair etc and off he went

very good shots though and like said 5 rocks for me
