Great shots, excellent composition on both, B&W works well.
Absolutely love the second shot, the blur in the middle adds a little mystery to the image.

I too am enjoying the excellent composition. The grainy look also adds a sort of spooky 1950's TV kind of look.

The second shot I wasn't happy with at the time I took the photo, as there was not enough light in the column and with that being said the third day in London I got tired of changing lenses. I just went with what I had on the camera which was the 70-300 Siggy.
I took like 4 images and everyone in this series had slight camera blur, this was the steadier pic due to resting the camera on the Railing.
I like this alot more now that I have converted to B&W.
Although I was also wishing for more available light so I could step the aperture down to f/8 or more to grab more detail oh well, this is where IS would have helped.
