Hey everyone,
I just got back from Creation Fest today, and I had a blast. I wanted to post some shot's and get some comments/criticisms/compliments (I know it's not the same kind of music the majority of you listen to, so I appologize if it is lacking in interest). I used my new 30D for the first time, whew! Here are a few. I also have nightime shots that were shot in raw (thanks to a friend here on helping me with the settings). I just can't figure out how to get them into my Paint Shop Pro to resize and all of that good stuff. Any help would be appreciated :) Here are the pics... ( I will post more in a part 2 thread so that I don't overpopulate this one with photos)

I like 1, 4 and 5. For some reason the bassist in # 6 look like a cardboard cut out!

I use Paint Shop Pro and RAW files open up fine, albeit rather slowly, after I download them to my computer with the EOS utility.

Nice work. Good exposure, great vibe (for outdoors), and tack sharp.

I use photoshop, so can't help with the RAW / PSP thing sorry.

Well done/.

May I see some shots?

Also, does anyone have any tips on how to improve? One thing I really kept in mind from past concerts was to not cut off the guitar head. And the suggestion was great because the photos seem to have more dimension to them :) With these photos plus a few upcoming concerts, does anyone feel I have a good, professional portfolio ?

Brandon, have you read the FAQ? Also, read through as many threads as you can ... little side discussions come up all the time. Also, you will get to know the guys who really know what they are doing and watch for their threads. Most of us will answer questions about what we are doing or specific problems with your images but no one can tell you how to get better, just what to try to do. And, as always, it is 80% who you know!
