The MKII seems fast enough for me though. I'm still working at figuring out what my optimum settings should be for things other than sports shots. I really like the "SI" settings after I tweeked a few. 1D MkII; 100 Macro, 24-70L, 70-200L IS, 100-400L IS, 1.4x MkII, Sigma 600mm

The anaology fits.. It's heavy as hell,. totally reliable,. shoots REALLY fast.. shoots BIG shots.. (ie: calibre OR MegaPixels) carries LOTS of ammo.. (the M2 is where the term "the whole nine yards" comes from.. that was the full length of the ammo belt..) ...and it works best behind a BIG barrel on a gimble mount tripod! ![]() I think I just decided on a name for my MkII...
