Amazon and some other online retailers should still have some.

Honestly why would you want CS2? Adobe no longer is going to provide updates for and future cameras so it seems.

As has been said, why do you want Photoshop CS2? I've upgraded to Creative Suite 3 and don't have any CS2 applications installed on any of my machines any more.

I'm not sure if there's any upgrade from Photoshop Elements to Photoshop CS3 - you'll have to check the Adobe web site.

CS2 is far more than I will use or ever learn anyway, however I want something to support Kubota actions. I've found CS2 on ebay, just not sure I trust it. According to the phone rep at adobe, I can update from PSE 4.0 to CS3 for $549. CS2 is no longer available through them. Any thoughts on ebay purchases?

You could well be buying a pirate copy in eBay - I wouldn't buy expensive software from there.

Seriously - forget about CS2. There are so many worthwhile improvements in CS3 that it's nonsense to buy the older version now IMHO. I realise that there's a lot in Photoshop that you may never use, but bits you probably will use (Camera Raw, Shadow / Highlights, the use of Filters, Bridge) are greatly improved in CS3 compared to CS2.
