Different approach this time, different location, and different time of day: DIFFERENT RESULTS! We decided to go urban this time and experiment a little--she got her more "traditional shots" last week so we thought we should mix it up a bit. We got there a bit late and had about a half an hour to shoot before we lost the "good" light. Here are some shots from today's shoot (some pp to a couple, some straight out of the camera).

it's like she has a constant smile, or the same whether the teeth are showing or not. kinda funny :-P you can see the same angle when she does those smiles. the 5th one seems to need more light or just brighten it. and the 6th, you cut off her fingers there oh and be careful with those hairties on the wrists, also the bg is a little cluttered, you could crop in tigher on her there as well. nice job overall with everything

The poses and compostions I generally like, but the colors look very muted in some, blown out in others.

Nice posing and some great concepts. I think you need to bump up your contrast and saturation before printing. They are definitely washed. My only critique on your model would be that it appears as though she's continuously raising her forehead. I do realize that her eyebrows might give that an exxagerated appearance, but see if you can photograph her smiling without raising her eyebrows. Then make a side by side comparison to show her. It will help her when she's posing and make her facial features more relaxed.

nice captures, but I'd play with "levels" a bit and up the contrast and she will be a happy lady...

My 2 cents worth:

#1 I like the setting, but the picture itself needs some work I think...it looks a bit "hazy" and its overblown on her shirt, a little contrast and saturation would probably work pretty well to start with.
#2 I do love this one, I love the colors, contrast and all of it. Its very nice, my favorite of all of them.
#3 also has that hazy look to it...some contrast, saturation to make the colors pop...
#4 is good, a bit on the bright side maybe...but not as badly as #1.
#5 is really dark compared to the other ones, some fill flash maybe?
#6 I really like this one...I'd probably crop it down a bit and not have so much space over her head, otherwise its a nice shot as well. Second favorite.

#1 pose would've been so good if you hadn't cut off her back, feet, and fingers. If she's open to trying that shot again it's worth doing.

#2 is awesome. That's definitely a keeper.

#3 seems a bit hazy but I like the composition. That's definitely a location worth repeaed returns.

#6 More body, less airspace above her head. Maybe taking a knee for that shot would've helped? Lovely DOF and the breeze in her hair was nice, too.

once you get it, you will be taking some killer shots of her. I agree with what everyone said.

Great shots, I think with a little PP they would be a lot better as well. Even something as simple as auto levels in photoshop will make a drastic difference.

A few of them are very faded from the sun. Some PP will fix that though (Peachman demonstrated that well). Other than that nice shots
