The bright areas around the bike make the bike look dark(er) by comparison? Look at post #30 here to see what I mean: A few Car Lighting Tips

A black bike is most difficult to shoot. Try this next time...shoot the bike with a killer orange sunset in the foreground to show the reflection in the killer black paint and chrome. WAIT! till the sun goes all the way down. Finally, straighten the fromt wheel. You have a very nice bike it deserves your time to capture it like a pro. keep it up!
