Here is the list :

For wide angle : 17-55 or 17-40
For walk around : 24-105
For Sport :100-400
For macro : 100mm or 180mm

If you like go deep in to wide angle : 10-22

Extra money : 70-200

Those lens and filter ..etc could cost you about $5K .

Personally if budget wasn't a concern, I'd go 17-55 & 70-200 f/4 IS.

Emphasis is on 'I'd'.. your own shooting style might present different needs.

Love my 17-55 IS 2.8, I'll NOT be going full frame soon just so I can continue to use it. The day Canon releases a 24-xx 2.8 IS will be the day I give it up.

Also, was VERY happy with my old tamron 28-75 2.8 if budget is a huge concern.

If I could pick 2 lenses to have for a long time and not have any other 2 :

17-55 2.8 IS
70-200 2.8 IS

If you get 70-200F4L lens ,and you don't have money for another macro lens make sure you also pick up the Raynox DCR250 close up .It's cost only $40 at BH http://www.bhphotovideo.com …250_2_5x_Super_Macro.html (external link)

Check out my post here with that lens :
