I think it is a lovley shot. I just melt at big brown eyes filled with tears. But to the above comenter... just know. My kids cry about nothing pleanty and I have never (or at least rarely) put the camera down to hug them if they are just being crusty. To tell them to stop maybe, but I am sure if she really needed a hug and not a picture it would have been given. ... any way i think it is beautiful. I also love the fingers in her mouth.

Actually, It was shot with my 70-200mm and I didnt even know she had water in her eye.
When I got closer a second later another cousin wiped the water away and said she just had a watering eye, and wasnt crying.

So the bottom line is that "no children were in any way distressed during the taking of this photograph". :-)
