Okay, my forte is still pet photography, but I am determined to master this nature photography thing. Here's a couple of my latest creations. Critique away.

Jewel,

These are wonderfull... :)

The Golf course shot is great.. with the three of them walking together.. an excellent image! ("Ibis" by the way.. not Egrets :) )

But the Heron.. wow! Amazing timing and perfect composition with the vista of the river in the backgorund.

Excellent work.

Great shot of the heron - but I like the first one too - It made me smile, just a shame there were no golfers on the green at the time.

Cheers

Nice shots. I like the first very much. Makes me think about an image I made earlier this year in New Jersey.

Top one was my favorite. I can imagine them bobbing along like old men. Made me smile :)

Thanks everyone. I really do feel nature photography is the most difficult of the different areas of photography. It is quite challenging because it's not like you have a model just there in front of the camera waiting for you to say cheese.

The blue heron reminds me of leonardo Decapprio in titanic, leaning over the edge of the ship with his arms out.. But I'm sick and twisted, so take of it what you will...

Very nice. I really like the framing of the first one. The only thing is the yellow in the upper right corner. I would maybe remove it.

But very nice overall.
