Was actually trying to get lightning shots but they were so close they scared me  !!! I actually saw a bolt hit the building next to the parking garage i was in!!! its amazing how much lower you can crouch down than you actually think you can!!I was taking the first shot ( that angle anyways) when everything turned white and the loudest crack and boom i ever heard simultaneously!! after crouchin down farther (and the hair on my head standing up) i stood and turned and saw the remainder of the bolt for a split second and then huge sparks burst from the top of the building. Anyways let me stop talking. lol

Droool you saw where it hit!!!!!!!!... Go back and get shots of the strike zone aftermath... I searched for hours for one of those after a similar instance but it wasn't ontop of a building.. down the street on a telephone pole or something.. might have been a little further off because I didn't see exactly where it connected, searched and searched... The building owner might let you check it out and take pictures, Anyway; CONGRATS on the experience! they can be pretty cool, sweet, sick or whatever the word is now, but absolutely the most dangerous thing you could ever want to be close to :) I miss our lightning storms..
