I just got my first pair of glasses that I didn't think I needed. I apologize to anybody in the past year that I said their pictures were out of focus lol.

Confused was it the Weather vane or the Fireworks that you are trying to photograph?

It was both. I was trying to make the pictures more interesting by including our local landmark in them.

Great idea in theory but the composition made it sort of confusing...i'd say back it up or zoom out some, recompose so that the fireworks as fully visible and shoot it like that. 2c

Why does everybody list their gear here?

I really like #2 with the flag in it. Thats what the 4th, and the fire works are all about. A lot better than my first try.

I would of loved to backed up but if I would of there would have been telephone wires and a building showing in the pic.

I think they are great. I made an attempt, but my outcome was nowhere close to these. Great Job!

I love #1 and #2. Nice use of the light from the forework on the WEather vane. I like the flag in the picture on #2, great symbolism!!
