I love barns but I never feel like I have what it takes to capture them.

Here's my first try.

Critique appreciated.

I agree on the color in the sky. I think this is a great photo. If I were to be picky, I might consider a tighter crop on the left side of the photo, just barely to the left of the bush.

Yeah, I may go back to the original for that, thanks. I'd like to do away with the bush altogether.

Not bad, I don't care much for the angle and it seems soft or over-processed or something. Barns like this typically look better is you can see the details in the boards and roof and etc.
Lots of barns posted in this forum, look em over and see what you think works and then go try some more. They can be wonderful subjects.

P.S. check out some of Sandy's barns in this forum, he does great work.

I guess the point of the Forum is to be critical when the poster requests C&C, but I personally think that shot is fantastic just like it is. If that shot was on my CF card, it would be printed to 17" X 22" immediately.

Colours are nice and a little different from the norm which is nice.

I'd agree with the comments that it looks a little over processed . . . looks like you put a soft glow over it which takes something away from it . . .esp in the sharpness looks. Although at the reduced resolution, its difficult to tell really.
