Has anyone used bird decoys in their yard to attract birds for photographing?

I haven't, but that brings up an interesting point. I think it would be very successful for some types of birds...just have to make sure to keep the decoy out of the frame.

Decoys can make for some interesting photography, just make sure to keep the decoy in the shot.:)

Yeah (I don't have the link, but) there was an interesting posting in the nature forum from a guy who thought he was shooting a coyote and it turned out to be a decoy. :)
