I was driving around doing some errands yesterday and had my camera with me. I came across these two. They didn't fly away when I stopped. They just stood by the side of the road and posed for me. All I had to do was lean out the window and photograph them :)

How lucky can you get? Very nice shots Jim. Wish that would happen to me more often. :)

Wow! That Canon 100-400 IS lens did a great job and so did the photographer.

Outstanding shots. Super sharp with excellent details. Like the pose and composition in them both. Brilliant work. :-)

Best regards

Wow. The killdeer is great. Almost looks 3D. The willet is also very nice. This forum makes me want to spend more time in the great outdoors. Wished I had more time.

Wonderful shots Jim. The conditions look very bright and you managed to allow for this very well.

You did very well capturing these birds despite the harsh light condition. Very well done indeed Jim.
