Do you ever switch your camera off?

I just leave at the 'middle' ON position even when tossing it in the bag (I've only turned it off when dealing with the lens)

I've had it this way for about a week; I took over 400 shots July 1 (I had charged it the night before) and have taken about a 120 more shots since then and still haven't had to recharge the Sterlinktek battery (the Canon battery lasts a while too)
