i have a digital rebel
i need to get a filter set
i will be using a 17-40 F4L that has a 77MM filter size
i also have a EF50 1.8 with a 52MM filter size
i also have a rebel kit lens 58MM filter
i understand the conkin P holder will allow me to use filters for the biggest size lens (77) on all three
true?

i need at least a polorizer and grad ND
i am considering a color enhancer for fall colors but am not sure if there is an advantage over post processing adjustments

other filter suggestions appreciated

my primary application is mountain and lake landscapes

I think that Cokin P system is the way to go. You can use same filter on all you lenses. I doubt that color enhancers or even polarizers are very useful with digital, but postprocessing cannot replace graduated filters. I also plan to use diffusers and fog filters.

2 days ago I ordered P holder, adapter rings, graduated G2 and fog 2 filters from www.2filters.com (external link) :) I supposed to receive it today :)

Check out this http://www.geocities.com/cokinfiltersystem/index.htm (external link)
you can find a lot of useful info concerning Conkin filters

thanks
let me know how it goes after you recieve and test the holder
i can not reproduce the effect of a polorizer in post process
the sky seems to have so much more dimension with the filter
perhaps there is a plug in or process i do not know about
