I have a Canon 24 f2.8, Canon 35 f2, and can buy a Tokina atx 17 F3.5(older version it looks like). But for the same amout of cash I could trade the 24 and the 35 for a 17-35 f2.8 or a 17-40 f4.

How does the the 17-35 and the 17-40 image quality compare the 17, 24, and the 35 at the same focal lengths? Oh yea on a 10d.

Thanks
