The 3rd image works for me Alan for the details, pose and BG as well as the catchlight and i like the last image for the details and catchlight as well.

Yeah one is just a Tad bit soft I checked the Exif data and the shutter Speed was 1/320 Sec at 300mm
the minimum should have been 1/500th so there is a little bit of camera shake
I should have bumped the ISO to 400.
But I guess I didn't do too bad at that speed considering no tripod.

I love #4 but I think it could a little more contrast and sharpening to the eye only. I think that would really make the pelican pop!


Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.
