I was testing my autofocus tracking on my new Mark III, and I may have a good copy.... I'm new to Canon (just sold my D2X), but so far so good :-)


I'm very impressed by the dynamic range of this camera. It was a sunny day and the top of the bird is very bright, but there is a lot of detail still available under. (no photoshop highlight recover here)

That is a great shot. I would say photographer skill has a lot to do with the success!

Thanks for your feedback (keep it coming ;-)a )....

I used a 70-200 2.8 IS, during a car race !
That bird was lurking at my son's burger and was very close. I chased him away and just pushed the (camera) trigger as he left. I was quite lucky....
