I am using DPP which I find great for what I do but am struggling with printing a 10*8 picture onto A4 paper. I have installed Easy Photoprint but it does not allow you to create your own templates ( I think). I don't know if Easy PhotoPrint Pro is better but I cannot get it to find out.
Any ideas

Have you tried printing directly from DPP in detailed printing mode on the file menu? Click the properties tab to set up your printer.

A4 paper is 8.27 x 11.69, so an 8 x 10 crop will clearly not have the proper aspect ratio. In the Trimming tool's dropdown menu there are choices for "A Sized landscape" and "A Sized Portrait". Use one of these and print ussing "Detailed Settings".
