I found this place residing under one of the railway arches, very strange shop, it reminded me of something from the old "Hammer house of horrors' back in the 70's. Notice the mounted croc skin. There were many eirie lookng portraits hanging up, even stranger inside, mountains of photo albums with old family photos still in them, ranging from the 60's to present day, families on holiday etc.

Very interesting, Andy. I really love the sense of adventure in your work--I like the clutter in this one, like a book one could reread a dozen times and still find new things. Part of me at first felt like I wish it had been closer, so I could SEE it better, but I think that's a reaction to the density of 'stuff'. Thanks for sharing, very cool. :)

Thanks for taking time to comment folks, much appreciated.
Nancy, yes, the clutter had an instant impact when I was there, that's what I was trying to capture, it was difficult to decide because there were so much other interesting stuff sprawled out further along.
I'll upload a hi res if folk want a closer look.

Very nice. Do you by any chance remember about where in Berlin? We are going back soon.

Thanks.
Lis:
It was on the street round the corner from the hotel Kempinski on Kurfuesrtendamm. I think it was on Fasanenstraße.

Very interesting shot, it's busy but in a good way. You want to look closer at the artifacts around the scene. Well done.

If it wasn't for the EURO sign, I wouldn't believe this was taken in this century! ;)

Great shot!
