This photo is very inviting; it makes me want to go there. It also makes me want more, I want to go through that door. Excellent!

mountains of photo albums with old family photos still in them, ranging from the 60's to present day, families on holiday etc.

It's the weirdest thing...my wife and I love the floh markets (flea markets) here...and every one we go to ends up with many booths with people selling a HUGE assortment/collection of family photos....I'm US military and while over here I have taken up collecting German WWI and WWII memorabilia of all types...I find myself easily spending a lot of time looking through old photos trying to find some unique military shots, picked up a few gems for pennies....

Anyway....

Nice shot, love the tone in this one.

love it! There is a lot to look at in the shot, but somehow it doesn't look overly busy. Well done :)

Two new things I spotted on the high res....there's portrait of Hitler behind the booth-sitting cherub, and top right corner shows saw-blade like pieces of metal on edges presumably to keep people from climbing.

Again, this is just a cool shot.

I didn't notice the saw. Also I think that's the owner inside the shop with her back to us.

Very interesting shot of an interesting subject.

That doll creeps me out for some reason.

thanks for the comments.
BillsBayou: The whole place creeped me out a bit to be honest :-)
Alex: If was chocca full of stuff from what looked like old folks houses that had died, that's the impression I got. Compartmentalised in to different stuff. Old Ornanents, War stuff, loads of books, photo albums, paintings. I cannot convey how much stuff was crammed in there, it was very claustraphobic, thought the place might collapse into itself at any moment, I wanted to take a shot in there but there's no way I would have done it justice. I commented to my wife that I bet there's at least one thing in there that's worth a fortune, finding it could take a lifetime.
