Typically I wouldn't post pictures of fireworks; but after staking out the spot for 5 hours; and then getting the two most elusive (to me) shells; I HAD to share these two.

The carrier in the foreground is the USS Midway in San Diego

First off; the Smiley face.. Which in this pic doesn't look very happy. Note the second one in the background to the left; it's from another barge in San Diego harbor that's synchronized:

Next is my favorite firework of all time.. The cube.
This picture looks like something out of the Matrix to me :)
