This was my first model shoot. I was shown the ropes by Alison Boland (external link), the model in the shots (and also an excellent shooter!). This is a million miles from my usual sit in a hide for 3 hours deal :-)

C&C Welcome!

They both are great, but the second one is captivating! Perfect composition, and I love the trail through the grain (or whatever it is).

Thanks for the feedback everyone. The consensus seems to be that #2 is the fave. We weren't so sure of even processing it at first. I'm sure glad I did!

I gotta agree both are nice but #2 is the winner of these two. I have made posts also where what I think is the best pic never get a compliment but it's another in the series that everyone seems to like.

I would love to see what the second on looks like in color. Just looking at the field, the clouds in background etc curious what it really lloked like there

#2 is great, I don't like her left hand playing with her hair in #1. Just my $.02 worth.

I going have to agree with everyone and say that #2 is the best. Sometimes what doesn't look good to us everyone else likes. That is the good thing about POTN. You can always get different views.

#2 is my favorite, #1 looks too staged taking away from it. I bet #2 is awesome in color as well.

#2 is amazing! #1 bothers me a little with the touching of the hair. Excellent job though
