Congratulations and wow!! The only real problem with this thread is it's strongly encouraging me to go and buy this lens. I can't afford to keep looking around on this forum! :cool:

Wonderful work. Congrats on the lens. You are going to love it. It is so convenient to switch between different magnifications.

I believe the "L" designates that certain rare earth glasses are used, although it gets equated with professional level gear.

Hiya DT,

Congrats on the new lens, great start :D #8 is also my favorite one.

I would love am MPE-65 & Brains comments "bit easier than lots of add-ons isn't it " are twisting my arm to get one, having only one hand it WOULD make my life so much easier, just gota run that line past Ami & see if I can get away with that for an excuse :lol: :lol:

Those are absolutely stunning shots, man.

I would expect to see stuff of that quality in National Geographic. Keep up the excellent work!

I wow the second - that bee shot is a winner! Welcome to the MPE club. Not only should it have a stripe it should be grey as bugs seem less distracted by lighter colours.
