in zoombrowser (program that came with canon to view pictures) I can see what exposure compensation i used. I can not figure out how in lightroom to view the exposure compensation. I can see exposer and all the other info on the right side of the screen. how do I make exp compensation show up?

Hmmm. Mine shows up. FEC is not available but EC is. I don't believe I had to change anything to make it show either.

Not able to check myself right now (I thought it was there too), but for viewing other metadata that isn't usually there, perhaps this will help (I've never tried it myself, but looks interesting):

where does your show up? on the right colume in metedata section (i am at work and can't see the screen layout). It gives me alot of info like what lens. exposure (1/400 @ f2.8 etc....) but does not say +1 or -1 if i used that for EC

what version are you using? 1.1 or 1.0

I checked while I was at home for lunch. In the Metadata section of the right panel under EXIF the fourth property listed (just below SS, Ap, and ISO) is Exposure Bias.

FOUND IT!!!!!! in the right collumn. where it says metadata. there is a little pull down menu just to the left of metadata. if you select all it shows everything. it was set to default which did not show it. Now, how to see flash compensation?
