They are all beautiful as usual, but #5 is my favorite for its exceptional composition ;)

Beautifully done as always Brian. I keep saying I'm going to try these type shots and with all the rain of late I think I should have a go as these are inspiring to say the least.

Thanks for the kind comments again everyone :)
Bill- I just get more practice/opportunity than most people here because I'm retired. Seem to have turned macrophotography into a full time occupation :)

Fantastic series. What do you mean by 3D flowers instead of 2D?

Sorry it wasn't clear - I meant flowers with a lot of depth such as fuchsias or chrysanthemums rather than fairly flat flowers such as daisies or primroses.

Those are amazing. How do you get that detail in the droplets? Is this a complex setup or something special? Those are stunning. I don't think I have ever seen water droplets like that before. Definitely make your own book. I'd buy it.

OK, heres a question, and these are TOO COOL BTW...

When I see these pictures I am always amazed, but do you guy typically go outside in the am and look for the right situation with the dew on the blades of grass or leaves with the flowers in the right situation, or do you set it up outside to the right situation or do you set it up in a studio of some kind...

Not trying to bash anyone, cuz I dont think I could manage these under the most control situations...LOL...just trying to figure out how its set up...LOL

Hiya Brian,

Fantastic series of shots once again, " Some normal dewdrop refractions " hell that's an understatement if ever, you should see some of my ' Normal ' attempts, Na on second thoughts

#1 is my absolutes favorite, it reminds me of a Crystal Ball, one can see into the ' Fuchsia, Oh sorry couldn't resist that

Cheers for now
Mark

Very nice series - I thought #1 was rather fushiaristic
