I am confused.

Trying to built light tripod/ballhead combination. After months of investigation decided to go with Gitzo 1158 and Martins TB-20 and Q3 Emile ballhead. I am completely confused with the other "stuff" I need for this set up.

Need clamp and plate for camera(30D) (and Mark III shortly) and two lenses (70-200 f/2.8 and 100-400 f/4.5-5.6)?

I guess I will go for Kirk or RRS QR clamp. Do I then need Kirk or RRS plates to go with their QR clamps???

Also, if I buy L-bracket does it need to be the same brand as QR clamp and plates?

Any help/clarification for the whole system will be be appreciated,

m
