printing biz cards (Canada) Quality?! with photo

I am trying to have some business cards printed in Canada. My design is b/w with a photo that I took on it. Attached is a preview of the design so far.

I am having trouble getting a nice proof. The image always looks noisy (small dots visible on the skin) and the original is nothing like this. I have saved the file in 600ppi which I was told was more than acceptable by the print place near by.

I have checked online but the quality is hard to judge.

Any suggestions of a good place? I have see other's cards with photos on them and they look beautiful.

Where did you find that (ugh) hat. It has the wrong logo on it. The proper one has two C's and an H intertwined and has three colours, bleu, blanc, et rouge - s'il vous plait!

Best to get a Team Canada logo.

Can't help you with your problem, but that's a neat business card.
