about 13-14 I got a mamiya-sekor f500 fastest speed was 1/500 it was all manual it did have a built in light meter that you had to get the needle in the c to be correct ... it was so cool then ... i wont say what year it was ...gawd im old ....lol

Yashica 200AF, in 1988, I was 25.

26 with my DSLR Rebel XTi. so its all new compared to the point and shoot Sony cyber shot that i had. so i guess im all new to this. and im still 26. lol

First used my dad's Minolta x-700 at age 13.

First SLR bought: a used Minolta x-700 on e-bay at age 27 (just like dad!)
First DSLR: new Rebel XT at age 30 (bye-bye Minolta, hello Canon!! )

First SLR Aurgus Screw mount with 50mm 1.8 and 135mm 2.8 Lens age 14

Dad's hand-me-down Zenit-EM aged about 7 or 8, when he upgraded to possibly a Zenit-11, possibly a TTL (I think it was a TTL). It broke about 12 years back when I was mid-teens.

300D 2 years back, 26th birthday present to myself.

Praktica MTL 3 when I was about 15. My dad taught me how to use it but after a year it started chewing up film when winding back after finishing a roll so I gave up with it.
