Superb shots Mark and on the last shot he should be wearing eye protection :-) I tried to get a wasp IF but man do they move quick or what, kudos to you mate for getting them IF.

The trick to getting these IF's is to get right up close to the Nest entrance let em get used to you even land on you, then every once in a while there's a traffic jam & one or two will hover just for a sec or two, that's it nothing technical just gota be daft enough to stand there :lol: , I think it's harder to get hover flies IMHO well for me anyway :lol:
