Can anyone tell me if they have experienced very slow response times when working with RAW files using Canon's Digital Photo Professional Software with a Mac? It's a new fast iMac that runs quick for every other application. CS2 is fast working with RAW files.

A bit more info might be helpfull.
I use DPP on a G4 1GHz, and it's not much slower then ACR. (both significantly slower then on your system I'ld think)

What version of DPP are you using?

Version 3.0.0.4 of DPP is universal binary - it's pretty darn fast on my 20" iMac 2.16 GHz C2D.

I loaded the DPP that came with my 30D just a couple of months ago. I will check the version tonight. I tried working with less images in my folder and it really improved the speed.
