Returning without spines

After blowing off nearly all of my last year's images when my computer crashed (I messed up using the auto backup program), I am now back on line, with my software installed. Sometimes you just have to say f*** it and go on. On the brighter side, my computer does not choke on Helicon and spellcheck works with my email.

This is the first of my new images. To put the computer through its paces, I served up a stack of 120 images. Taken at a little over 1:! in available light, I loved the way the light caught the little hairs and made them glow. Hope you enjoy.

Looks like hairy sausages Irwin It's very textual and yes I like the light. Glad to hear your computer is back up and running.

Wonderful stack Irwin- certainly testing the new PC with 100 + stack!
I don't like backup progs/compression sytems. I just use the free microsoft "synctoy" to backup my pics to external HDs every now and then.

Not good news about the loss of images Irwin, but on the bright side, you're back and have posted a lovely image I can't believe 120 stacks!!!

Thank you Alby, Brian, Artur,and Dave. It's better to be producing new images than moaning about the ones that got away. I meant to mention that I used a Rodenstock 75mm macro on bellows and tubes, instead of the Canon 65mpe because thinner profile of the rodenstock is easier to use with natural light, though not particularly good for bug chasing. It is easier to avoid shadowing your subject.
