Awesome to me. What was your shutter speed? (How long was it rollin'?)

the chaotic multiple explosions are nice, lively.
You are on the right track here.
Try as many different angles as you can think of,
cutting in people, the lake, etc..
Good shooting.

Try to focus in on the fireworks a little more, or maybe just crop out the people. Possibly do some sharpening in Photoshop.

The shutter speeds varied from 8 sec. to 25 sec w/ a 28-135 IS. Also others commented to make the fireworks look sharper and I realized I had it at F3.5 when I really should have it at f11. Like I said, it was my first time shooting fireworks. Thanks to all for the comments
