Starter Flash?

Anybody got a starter flash to recommend? Relatively low price, I shoot portraits and "product shot"-ish stuff mainly, but I want to venture more into action photography (I'm an airsofter and the only photographer in my school, they will start begging for me to do events before long... ).

How much are you willing to spend?

My first flash for my XT was a Sunpak 383 Auto. It's not computerized and doesn't have custom functions, but I only paid $60 for it and it helped me learn how to use flash really quickly. I got some great shots with it.

However, for sports you'll want something with power and some custom functions. At a low price, I recommend the Sigma EF-500 Super.
