HI everyone, just have a quick question. I edit and sort out all my photos in LR and then export to a folder to then burn it to DVD... It seems that everytime I do this there are some error images that failed to export! Anyone else with this same problem

Ok, one more question. I like to do all my renaming and stuff in LR but it always renames it like this ceremony-87.jpg - not sure how to avoid that dash. Also I can't rename virtual copies separely from the original. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Version 1.1 aparently (got it but haven't upgraded yet) allows you to rename virtual copies - which one are you using?

ok, I feel better I'm not the only one with this problem. See, I figure I am using LR for all of my organizational needs. If I can't rename in sequential order it sort of defeats the purpose. At the moment I am using pictage. I want all of my Filenames to match there's. When I have virtual copies this creates a problem. What I've been doing is exporting everything including virtual copies to a separate folder and then opening that up in photoshop and doing a batch rename. It seems like an unnecessary and redundant step. Anyone else have this problem?

No. I have been able to import and export and rename files with no issues. Can you spell out how you do your import/export (whichever one is the problem, I think you said export).

When I am in my collection that I want to export, I select all of the images and then export to a folder on my computer... The virtual copy saves as the file name-2... I want to be the next sequential #.

Thanks!
