I have a 103 (same except with laptop pocket) and it fits the following with hoods reversed:

30D with 24-70 fitted
Sig 100-300
Sig 150 macro
Toki 12-24
1.4 TC in pouch
2x TC
P2000
(cards, remote, batts filters etc in lid pockets)

With a bit of rearranging can also get my 28 1.8 in too but don't normally carry it.

Great post everyone, thanks for the info... Will be starting out my gear in a few weeks and I was thinking on the H-14 as well, looks perfect for short trips where you don't want to carry it all... Then as times goes by, more stuff comes your way and so the
H-102 will probably makes it's way to me as well... Thanks again all...

Very nice looking bag but I don't see any of the hoods. For me, if I can't fit all my hoods it's not worth it.

i reverse my hoods...then again i don't have my r102 packed like the op's.

D700 paired with 24-70 f2.8; 70-200vr f2.8 capped off by B+W MRC fPro UV filters, B+W Kaesemann Circular Polarizers, Manfrotto 055xprob/488rc2. All comfortably carried with Kata R102 backpack... adding as needed :>;) yep sold my canon gear and switched to the dark side :p

OK, back to my strap question again. I have been playing with it some more and can't believe they would make it this hard to snap on/off. I literally get marks indented into my fingers from pushing the little metal piece and am afraid to attempt to unsnap it while wearing it since I would need to use both hands to get it off (one to hold it and the other to force the metal piece).

Will it get any better or is it just a complete pain in the behind forever? I can see them wanting to make it secure, but this is a bit overboard.

Here is what I am talking about, it will not get past the D-ring without using heavy force.

Also, what does everyone use those little mesh baggies with the velcro on them for?

I put the raincoat in that bag and hang the bag off one of the outside loops.

Good comfy backpack, not enough dividers though. The zippers are really tough, maybe over time they'll wear, but it takes some serious force to move them.
Here's a pic of a packing session, normally i don't carry that much around though. Note the lens hoods.

I just got back from deployment to Germany. I carried this bag with me all over Europe. Fully packed with tripod, it weighed just about 35lbs. I wouldn't want if any bigger. Awesome bag. Very tough and built like a tank. I would recomend it to anyone. In fact, I bought a k-205 hicker model also. Great company.

They're lens bags. They saved one of my teles the other day when I got a bit careless while packing the bag in a bit of hurry and a lens dropped out. It swung outwards, but the velcro drawstring bag did its job and it went no further.
