 D'oh! Just realized I broke the rule about the photo being 800 pixels on the longest side. I'll disqualify myself. She is cute, though, and I hope you enjoy nonetheless!

While strolling at a nearby meadow, I caught my wife picking up these fluffy flowers and blowing them in the wind.

My buddies Marvin and Peter at the Gilgal Childrens' Home in Pappakudi, Tamil Nadu, India. These two goofballs loved to ham it up for my camera.

Ok - so many great entries! Here' my thoughts:

Mom27andblessed – nice family photo
Jostel – great action shot. He certainly was having fun!
DozerLYP – a loving shot of a boy and his best friend – perhaps a close crop on the faces?
RX350 - fun is in the moment – well captured.
ItsMike – the pup’s clearly enjoying himself!
Yel00tle – another well captured moment of fun.
dilorenzo1954 – a good set of shots leading to a fun moment.
Mraifrod – whatever they were doing it sure looked fun!
AeroSmith- another lovely family – clearly enjoying themselves.
Steve535 – fun or essential nourishment??
BeckyN – a good composition which draws the eye in.
Randy1213 – self-disqualified
Greenxeyezz – I can imagine this pair creating fun for everyone.
Delhi – a fantastic iconic shot!
SoccerRef – another nice action shot – looks like it will end in tears!
OriginalKevan – much fun in the ocean!
Angryhampster – lovely close-up of facial expressions – clearly having fun!
Greygoose - a nice action shot. Love the water falling in the background.
Airfrogusmc – very different – love the way the dog is looking over the glasses.

And the winner is………………………….

Angryhampster – technically - great composition and lighting. Emotionally – their faces shout fun. Well captured .

Thank you :)

I'm still amazed that it came out that well.. Not many of my shots came out in focus that day. The kids were all very rambunctious and kept jumping up and nearly smacking my lens with their noses.
